Substance Designer Study

In my pursuit to get better at texturing and learn new applications for my job , I decided to learn making textures in Substance designer during my downtime and afterhours . I have always felt intimidated to learn any application with nodes but I was pleasantly surprised after getting my hands on designer and the basics were fairly easy to understand and pick up thanks to some tutorials especially the intro to Substance Designer by Daniel Thiger -

From there I spent a lot of time experimenting with the basic nodes , creating my own utility nodes which helped speed up my workflow immensely and created my own smart materials that I can use on other projects . In the end I ended up having much more fun than i anticipated.
